Lifelog

This is the official Lifelog app from Sony. With Lifelog you can view information about your communications, entertainment and physical activity - you can also set goals and monitor your progress. The information compiled in Lifelog is collected partly using intelligent sensor technology in your Sony SmartWear device and via data gathered from apps and sensors in your Android smartphone.

The Lifelog interface is colorful, intuitive, graphic and animated - it lets you look back on any day to see how active you were, where you went and how you got there. You can also see what pictures you took, the music you listened to and how you were communicating that day. Life Bookmarks are special moments that you want to save in detail.

To best enjoy SmartWear, Sony asks that your device is running Android 4.4; KitKat or later, has support for Bluetooth®4.0 Low Energy and that you are using Sony SmartWear apparel – SmartBand 2, SmartBand, SmartBand Talk or SmartWatch 3. Each device will enable you to accurately log and capture your life - please visit our website for a detailed breakdown of how each SmartWear device functions with Lifelog.

To use this app with SmartBand you will need to install both the Smart Connect (pre-installed in Xperia™ smartphones) and host application for SmartBand. For SmartBand 2 and SmartBand Talk, you will need to install the corresponding host application. For SmartWatch 3, Lifelog runs as a wearable application to record your steps and running activity, and also feeds that data back to Lifelog on your Android smartphone.

You can now also access your Lifelog from the web - lifelog.sonymobile.com. You'll be able to view your story in any screen size - from your smartphone to your tablet to your TV - all you have to do is log in using your Sony Entertainment Network account.

Please stay tuned to the Sony Mobile blog (http://blogs.sonymobile.com/tag/lifelog/) for the latest news.

Log your day every day, in detail.

Lifelog uses analytics software to collect usage data and statistics to help us improve our apps and services - none of this data can or will be used to identify you. Full details can be found within Sony Mobile's Privacy Policy.

After annual update the application become terrible. On my Sony Xperia Z1 compact with swr10 it worked fine for a while, but suddenly it stops track gps location and sleep. It happens about once a week and the only way to make to make it work again is to reinstall it or clean data. Anyway it annoying me.

Just stopped recording the steps and walking for a few days.. No reason, no error msg.. Constantly advertising Sony smart and, but App is just short of useless when it doesn't record when you are assuming it is.

This is a very nice app but it records a lot more steps than I've actually taken, and because I'm quite a restless sleeper it often doesn't record my sleep correctly either.
